. . . reveal how well it wears. Not exactly overpowering, even at a large-ish 45 mm diameter. I suspect the sun phase (or day-night) indicator is the enhancement that makes this model of special interest to a segment of chronograph users.
A well-executed variation of a sensible design, but ultimately, not inspiring. Layers of complexity will make this appealing to some; the frequent traveler who can make use of the exceptional timing capabilities of the El Primero will find the large date and day-night indicator persuasive.
