style-wise, the 410 is part of the Captain series, and there, the chronographs never had overlapping subdials. We also have to differ: ON the Striking 10th, the overlpping subdial has no functional disadvantage. Also, on the historical timepieces, the overlapping counters were no problem, since there, the 30 minutes coutner overlapped the 12 hours counter. For the hours, you do not really need an exact register subdivision for every half hour. However, for an accurate reading of the elapsed time, you need a complete register for the elapsed minutes. Weirdly, Zenith decided not to follow the historical example and overlapped the minutes counter with the hours coutner instead. Consequently, it is impossible to read the elapsed minutes between 16 and 20 minutes: For a chronograph company bragging about its ability to measure 1/10ths of a second intervals, this is simply stupidity.
