Wristscan: Highlighting the Independents
Sep 04, 2022,14:02 PM
Here is the summary of the Independents submitted to this week's wristscan on Limited Editions.
Be-Ba Chronometer: A very rare timepiece which many of us have never heard of. Maybe 8 pieces exist. Some gorgeous pictures and info
here Nord Zeitmachine Variocurve: A few versions exist. V1 had a limited run of 99 pieces. I found an extensive review
here Lang and Heyne Hektor: 2 members submitted this watch for the event. It was only recently released a few months ago. A limited run of 33 pieces for each of the 3 colours (total 99 pieces). A comprehensive review
here Habring2 Prototype: This can be customised by working with your AD, for example,
Passion Fine Jewellery at Solana Beach California. An example of 15 pieces with a special lumed dial was reviewed
here Habring 2 Timezone Edition: 21 units were produced. It has a unique stepped bezel, a sector dial, and jumping seconds. A comprehensive review
here Habring 2 COS ZM - I believe this watch was a finalist for GPHG. It has various small runs of different dial variations.
Habring2 Australis Edition - I cannot find a review for this rare piece. It exists. Please refer to Pplater's entry for this unique entry
Hentschel P20 Edition for Watchprosite: A very small batch of 20 made for this LE for Watchprosite. More info
here H Moser & Cie Endeavor Funky Blue Dial. An LE of 100 pieces. A comprehensive review
here H Moser & Cie Endeavor Dual Time Tourbillon: the grey-dial version submitted by Timeout is elusive. 20 pieces exist, and no pictures are found by my search on the net. Rare elusive bird...darn
H Moser & Cie Pioneer Govberg Edition (with a diving bezel): A 100 piece LE. Mach has done a review
here H Moser & Cie Streamliner Flyback Chronograph: A 100 piece LE. SJX, a missing member from this site had written about this
here Moritz Grossman Benu Platinum: a 25 piece LE: I couldn't find a press release on it, but found a similar model in
Gold which had a slightly larger production run compared to the platinum
SUF Helsinki 180 Green: This was only made in 26 pieces for the green variant. From time to time, he releases new dial colours such as the recent Turquoise piece. A review can be found
here Azimuth "Back in Time": 80 pieces were made for the version Watchnut posted. A few dial variations exist. A review is found
here McGonigle Tuscar: 10 pieces were made for the LE posted by Pplater. I guess when an LE is made in such small numbers, watch review sites do not cover them because they are that rare.
Parmigiani Fleurier Tondagraph GT: I believe 200 were made in this version. A great comprehensive review was written
here Ming Watches: They make small production run. KMII has posted 1/150 and 1/25 version too.
