WOW result : WOW effect !
It is always so diffficult to judge due to the quality
entries. I was torn between so many great pics but had to finally choose and decided to make a
fully independant selection 
.
After all WOW is for Watch Of the Week but WOW effect too so let’s go for a WOW selection :
2 runner-ups and I am sure you will agree it was not possible to rank these 2 :
Greubel Forsey Tourbillon 24 Secondes Contemporain “Royal Blue”. Amazing
piece that features one tourbillon that is placed at a 25 degree angle. The
tourbillon rotates once each 24 seconds unlike most that rotate once each 60
seconds. Big congrats to EdTonkin for this marvel.
An
unusual duo pic featuring 2 beauties. Of course the Patek 7200R Calatrava is a very
elegant and reliable watch with its 240 caliber but the one that propelled this
pic to this rank is the Laurent Ferrier Galet. No it is not just a normal
beautiful Galet micro-rotor, this one is the Limited Edition with an enamel
grand feu dial and a platinum case, just sublime imho. Big applause for AlfaQ4 !
As for the
winning WOW, I obviously could finish only with the epitome of Simplicity… That
one is simply breathtaking, many thanks and congrats to Ken for sharing his beauty
with us . 
What a trio on the WOW podium this week !

Again it was a difficult choice to make. But I have to say that one particular shot clearly stood out for me, even though it shows a modern watch (some of you might know that I am in the vintage camp) and it shows a YG watch which is something I do genera...

It's a black dial but with light reflections on the glass, you can obtain an almost dark blue dial 😉 Best wishes Alkiro
Here is an idea
let's make Abel the judge for WOTW, Wristscan and Static for the next 6 months, I'm sure he is gentlemen enough not to make himself win
Abel is true gentleman and as such
he always speaks truthfully and is righteous so he will need to give every weekend first prize in all categories for six months to himself
