There were so many outstanding submissions . . .
. . . on so many levels - subject matter, technical excellence, and aesthetics - that I found it impossible to pick favorites this week. Actually, I'll take that back - I did have a favorite overall, but it wasn't an image of a watch.
There's an eerily haunting cast to this photo that makes it incredibly riveting. A tip of the proverbial cap, Richard - this forum has seen many outstanding images, but this is perhaps the first one I would consider a work of art.
The other masterpiece this week, in my opinion, was blomman's composition of two analog instruments . . .
. . . expressing the same time in their respective ways. The purity of this image is evocative, to say the least.
As for Wrist Scan, my favorite was Patrice's cool and austere Lange . . .
. . . depicted against a background of grey concrete, which brings out the strength of the watch.
Thanks, everyone, and hope to see you all this Friday for another session of Wrist Scan.
Cordially,
Art
