There are so many worthy candidates for Wrist Shot honors this week . . .

. . . I'm forced to issue a preliminary judgement just for honorable mentions.
Abel's Farsi Seiko 5 struck a chord . . .
. . . as yours truly spent most of the Sixties in southwest Iran. Never learned the language, but learned to count to ten, and still use Farsi for calling backgammon dice. This profile shot of Abel's Speedy . . .
. . . was compelling on account of the strap. Those who know need no explanation how special this particular strap is.
I never knew Stoikos was a Dead fan . . .
. . . until now.
h's vintage FF . . .
. . . was smartly captured.
Lyrical allusions . . .
. . . work for me! Deft touch, jml.
A shout-out to Henry for posting the first candid capture I've seen of this new King Seiko . . .
. . . that was high on my acquisition list, and even higher now.
Several 'home team' entries caught my eye. Ruffian's ref 2400(?) . . .
. . . K's 1948 SM . . .
. . . and Hans' Genève Dynamic . . .
. . . were all easy on my eyes.
Ruffian also shared a Nivada . . .
. . . which came across as uncommonly striking for a relatively simple design.
Chronometer composed this masterpiece of a strikingly strapped OP . . .
. . . with an artfully blended background.
Vintage elegance and automotive excellence; kudos, Jaccard.
Don't tell Fab one of my all-time favorites is the 5000, practically the only modern Patek I've contemplated acquiring. Francis pulled at my heartstrings with this one.
If Brandon's Ressence was any more saturated, it would be illegal.
K's Minerva was the other understated vintage chrono that caught my eye this week.
How could I pass over Francis' RM with that background?
Ride, Captain . . .
. . . ride!
😊
