Friends,
Had to think a bit, what would qualify as "odd",
which turned out to be not too easy for me..
So, here are my two humble chips for playing:
The first one is my ABP Pro, to me one of oddities, as it
has 4 seconds hands, ( one of them colored) & indicates
further to time & seconds, pulsations & respirations;
And also because of a pretty special wafer dial in black.
This gives the watch a nice, varying play with light, when turned or tilted.
Lastly, it currently features a red strap, my only red one..
It's the watch, which I always take along for holidays or areas,
where I like to wear something not too blingy..
ABP Pro & green reflections
ABP & a ray of light..
The second one with some odd features, is a timepiece,
which in fact I had found in South Africa;
Case & dial are made of a special wood, found there;
its manufactured by young blacks, working in a government
guided empowerment activity.
To me it's odd, because of the material - other than that pretty conventional,
a Quartz watch with just 3 hands, low key in it's brownish colors,
which give the timepiece a certain "rural", but still quite pleasing appeal.
Here now this Tjikko watch, directly from South Africa, here with
some spring Proteas, the natural & national flower of SA.
Tjikko from South Africa
Protea blossoming..
Well, hopefully, these were odd enough, although I suspect, it is still
pretty "round-the-mill" & common, at least, as far as the ABO Pro
is concerned..
Cheers & HAGWE,
hs
