I enjoyed riding it with my grandchildren a couple of years ago.
It doesn’t really fly but it’s very enjoyable anyway .

Yes, it is also a very inexpensive way to own a ss chrono.
The "only" inconvenience is that you have to press the pusher in the crown all the time, inorder to halt the ss hand. If you come off from the pusher, the spring will make the ss hand catch up with the other hand again. I am pleased you like the watch dea...
