Thank you so much, dear Art!

I am very very honored and happy. πŸ™

Last week I was very busy in every respect and didn't have the opportunity to look up the verdicts. I'm all the more pleased with your kind verdict!

This Zenith Pilot Montre d’AΓ©ronef Type 20 is really something very special.

As its heart beats this already mentioned 5011K manual-winding movement.

In 1967 this - legendary - movement was considered the most accurate in the world (!) and received over 300 awards and prizes.
A watchmaker told me that some records are still held to this day...
I have to research if that can be true?

This movement is COSC-certified (tested by Neuchatel Observatory) and existed in Zenith’s archives with only 250 pieces. These 250 movements had been specially implemented in the Montre d’AΓ©ronef Type 20 watch model.

The caliber 5011 is operating at 18,000 vibrations per hour and features an independent stop-seconds mechanism to enable precise synchronization with a time signal. Other notable features include: shock absorbers on the balance wheel and escape wheel, fine adjustment, anti-magnetic self-compensating Breguet hairspring, movable stud holder, double-index system, and Zenith’s winding stem attachment system.

Movement, case and dial - everything together makes a magnificent and very special masterpiece.
