Not quite the same...
Hi Art,
No it’s not the same watch. The other Constellation I was considering was solid gold but the movement ended up showing signs of a lot of restoration and was an odd mixture of bridges and parts.
This one is the pink gold-capped steel version in very good condition – not a dent or blemish in sight – which is a bit less common and the Cal. 561 was very clean.
The crown I suspect is not original, although I have seen crowns like this on Constellations from that period. If I have to find another crown for it, then it may be a long work in progress. The watch however was fairly priced and there is so much I like about it, so I am happy.
I will post some more images on the Omega Forum in the next few weeks and we can discuss further.
