I like black dials with light hands and indices for their excellent legibility, although most of my watches are not black. Legibility obviously is not my premier concern .
This Sinn Flieger nicely exhibits this easy-to-read character:
It´s an old pic, because I actually was wearing this one on Friday:

Thanks my friend. I can live with your advice to only go for watches that you already have - a very nice selection to choose from! All the best Nikolaj

. . . ran the table on me last week. Yesterday, I returned the favor. The sixth shot was key: a kick with reverse English to pocket a solid just under the nose of a stripe, and I mean just under - maybe a millimeter's worth of clearance.
They are playing hyde park in London as well. A revisit to their historic concert 40 + years ago. Thats not so far to travel. On 6 Apr 2013 21:57, "www watchprosite" *Alert from:* www:watchprosite > *Posted By:* amanico (registered) on April 6th, 2013 - 1...

Zenith did it 100% right, IMHO. The original vintage is a little smaller for today's standard and it carries the 19mm inter lug space. This one is a tad bigger, not too much, and uses the standard (by my book) 20mm lug size. This allow me to practice my f...
I've never understood why brands do 19 and 21mm lugs when 20 and 22mm would be so much easier. Perhaps its because they only want us to use their straps and bracelets? G On 5 Apr 2013 13:37, "www watchprosite" *Alert from:* www:watchprosite > *Posted By:*...
Based on that, my strap "library" has 18,19, 20, 21, 22, 23 (Zenith Stratos) and 24 (no watch, but it can fit the 23 mm). My biggest complain are the watches that sports curved straps (GP loves that). I can fit a standard strap but it requires lots of pat...
Two minutes slow per day! ;) It needed a good service. Now that the plexy has been changed and the service done, I can wear it without fear for the next 7 / 8 years! Best, my friend. Nicolas
I should do the same with some of my watches... Take a sabbatical from buying new stuff and only focus on fixing some... Easier said than done! ;) Best, my friend Blomman
Fixing and servicing, rather than adding new pieces in my collection. Well, you know me, if some good and long awaited pieces are coming, I will not be able to resist! Best! Nicolas
Thanks Damjan. Its one of 4 ltd ed pieces i have by an english ceramic artist who specialises in crackle glaze. 2 ceramic items together just seemed appropriate. Have a great weekend G. On 4 Apr 2013 22:14, "www watchprosite" *Alert from:* www:watchprosit...

Hi Graham Yup its my favourite too & I do have a weakness for alarm watches. Its also a great size. Think there are other crystal backed alarms out there - seem to recall a Poljot I saw a year or so back. Cheers JML
I've heard your model and the sapphire back makes it sound so much better although both the re editions have a great sound as well. My Cricket is not a particularly good sound, but better than some cheap models. Best G On 5 Apr 2013 21:37, "www watchprosi...

Great strap too... mine is on the Asultamente strap but I keep meaning to get my black Jules Verne put on for a change. Having seen this I'm going to get mine out for next week :) Yours, Andy.
I'll be wearing my ceramic when we meet Andy. It would be good to compare the two. I've tested the scratch resistance on mine and can confirm that you cant scratch it :) G On 7 Apr 2013 17:38, "www watchprosite" *Alert from:* www:watchprosite > *Posted By...
Nope dont think so. You had it on a black calf strap last time. I'm wearing my ocean7 on a water monitor lizard strap which gives it a different edge. It only came with rubber which i hate as you know. G On 7 Apr 2013 18:06, "www watchprosite" *Alert from...
