Hello dear friends:

Our event is closed now and I wish to thank all participants for their wonderful answer to our Theme.

Awesome shots and landmarks were shared in the entries making for a very interesting and enjoyable edition of our classic WS event.

We are working in the veredicts which will be posted in this same thread.

Honorable Dr No, Art will you help with judging
Best Static
And
Best Watch of the Week Categories.

Thank you so much for your kind help today dear Art!

I will be judging Best Wrist Shot and will be posting a bit later today as Iโ€™m in the middle of a family engagement right now.
Sorry for that!!

Judging will be very complicated as we have received so many superb shots, places and watches!! Well done participants!!

Have a nice week ahead friends!
Best
Abel

. . . this week, with many from Goh, coming to a decision wasn't easy. The images I found especially compelling were Brandon's OP . . . . . . Cazalea's IWC . . . . . . Goh's JLC . . . . . . KCLQMULKU's trio . . . . . . and Kurt's Seiko. Gold is a tie betw...

Excellent stuff!!

I thank you so much Art for your kind and valuable help judging these two categories. Sunday turned more complicated than expected to me as the internet connection was not reliable yesterday. Have a nice week ahead Art and all friends here. Best cordial r...

Watch of the Week should go to jml . . .

. . . for arguably the most impressive timekeeper ever made . . . . . . but it's only fair that the honor be shared equally with Goh . . . . . . as H4 is in the public domain. Hans' Ranchero . . . . . . rounds out the list in this category. Not sure what ...

Thanks & congratulations to all the winners

If I'm honest though - honours go to John Harrison & the Greenwich Observatory! I just enjoyed a day out there - just wish they made more of his wonderful clocks & the associated story. Cheers JML

Thankyou so much
