Hello again dear Thomas. Thank you so much for your kind words about my posts. I enjoy so much viewing and answering each entry. Sometimes I miss some because...
... it´s not easy to keep track of every answer received.
This is a place to participate and enjoy and I wish everybody enjoys as much as me and feels at home in this place sharing our shared passion for our watches. I´m happy to read your feelings and enjoyment of your collection.
Regarding your fantastic Zenith (I have seen that our dear Captain Scarlet also owns one) I can well understand that it is a challenge to wear it "under normal circumstances" as you well say. I do not own this watch but own a Panerai Big Egiziano Pam 341 which at 60 mm was a watch originally intended to be worn over the cuffs of the old rubber dry wetsuits of military frogmen. (Pam 341 is a limited edition of just 500 watches which Panerai launched several years ago faithfully replicating their original model of 1956.)
The watch looks outrageous on my thin wrist and I only have worn within the walls of my home. Anyway I love it and find a lot of joy just looking it on my desk as a big clock and I feel honored to own it in my collection.
I would love to own a Zenith like yours and it had been in my wish list since long. But you know... we can´t have everything! Lol!. If some day I get one I feel I won´t wear it like it happens with my Big Egiziano but would enjoy so much owning it as it is a great watch for sure.
Keep enjoying yours so much Thomas!
Best Abel
