... the other hobbies and passions of our friends here, beyond our shared passion for watches!
I have never been an sportman myself, except for my passion for the sea and for scuba diving which I practiced only on my sea side vacations once or twice a year till a few years ago.
My fondness for diving watches and for collecting small Deep Sea divers statuettes and vintage pieces of equipment has a connection with that sport.
I also enjoy so much reading, collecting fountain pens, shooting at the range and collecting antique and modern knives of different types. I have authored five books about knives (in Spanish).
I will share here some pictures of favorite pieces from these collections though regret I have not shots showing them with my watches which will show separately.

That is the Duometre that I find to be to most desirable of them all.

The Chronograph is a perfect and natural use case for the dual wing concept.

Coaxial monopusher makes some sense to me. In this case you gain some aesthetical benefit from the limitation in functionality. But in the end would you agree that a Chronograph is not so much a romantic but more a practical complication? And as such func...

sorry, I'll have to add a watch later. I tie trout flies, I get a kick from tying midges, these are all size 22 on a dime for reference. I've tied smaller but it gets to be a challenge.

Your hobby is a perfect match with metal bracelet but IMHO it is an even more perfect match to keep exchanging into a different leather strap. It will be even more fun if you share the built component of those bike (SID world Cup?, XX, Enve Carbon?)

Time flies so I try to save some as I can by enjoying all my passions at the same time : watches, pens, cufflinks and... photography 😉
