...well, it was (as always here) a very tough one guys. So many interesting watches in really great pictures. Life is sometimes not easy... ;-)

But i had to make a decision and here are the results in this weeks static contest:
My 1st place and the gold medal goes to: Marcus Hanke and his really nice shot of his superb Tudor. Very well done! I really like the composition of this shot. And of course the watch...!
Close up is Watchonthewrist and his stunning salmon blue Czapek on the 2nd place. Look at this beautiful salmon guilloche dial with the blued hands and markers. The hands alone are pure art! Czapek did a great job here! And i really like the picture at all.
The 3rd place goes to: hs111. Why? A really interesting and very rare watch fixed in a nice picture! Look at the dial of the wonderful Breguet.
Thanks to all the competitors and their beautiful timepieces! You all made this judging very very hard...! It was again a real honor and pleasure for me!
Cheers!
Sascha

You have posted a superb selection of plausible candidates - not let me get through... First candidate would of course be the MIH Watch - is there any more Purist watch out there? I guess not - image credit goes to 'jporos ': In one way or the other, the ...

I agree, the MIH is maybe too iconic of the Purist watch for the discerning judge.

Hello Gents, there are some serious stunning shots of man wrists this week, but I will try to overcome that by looking at the watches on top of them! On the 3rd place of the podiums amongst a wonderful array of Rolexes pictures, which ,together with the f...

Indeed, it is a while since I was promptly drawn so much towards a watch that I could not stop admiring it every single time looking at it. This bi-color Tudor is really a perfect watch for me and I have to force myself to take it off and make place for a...
