They were both gifted by a man to his two sons circa 1973-74 to celebrate his golden wedding to his wife (50th anniversary)
The two sons wore their respective Patek ref 2573 for many years but there was one difference: their degree of addiction to nicotine. This habit ended up showing on their respective dials, one which is crisp and the other one which has aged much more.
I have only kept the more 'wabi sabi' one of the two for various reasons
