Hi All It's a pleasure to say this week's wristscan - The Forgotten - is now open ! So a few from me My Omega Genève from 1966 - inherited from my great uncle. Doesn't get a lot of wrist time, but definitely a keeper. Was inspired by Art's post on the Ome...  

Would have loved to travel the 1500 Km that separate me from my safe in Rome... Several forgotten stuff in there! Next year hopefully!

The current situation can't last! Great theme, by yhe way!

Parents bought for me 22 years ago..... have not worn in over 10 years ...

A slightly sad theme here really. My Seiko was a very accurate watch at that time. Now in the back of a drawer for many years. Box and papers in archive. Worth nothing now but takes up little space, so why throw away? Just part of my history. The Avia was...

Saw this many years ago in a shop window and naively liked the art-deco dial. Complete with contemporary jeweller's box. Recently serviced and going well although not very accurate. Clive For the youngsters among us, UK 7gns=£7.35 ...

...recently, whilst having a bit of a clear out, I unearthed a watch that I had completely forgotten about. I found it in an old jewellery box that had survived three house moves unopened. It is an English made Smith’s Imperial dating from the late 1950s ...

So I gave him my Tag Heuer. I changed the strap for the original bracelet, which was a little to big. I gave him the address of of a jeweler and told him, tell the owner I bought this watch from his father. The owner liked the story. ...

My dad bought this in the mid-80's when twotone watches were popular, and this Datejust is quite a reflection of it's time. He didn't wear it much, reserving wearing it to weddings and special events. He gifted it to me some years ago when he saw me getti...  

I like tapestry dials so much. I also inherited a two tone DJ from my dad. I don’t wear it often because I am afraid it could be robbed as it has a strong nostalgic value for me. Otherwise I wouldn’t hesitate to wear a two tone watch. They got its chsrm a...
