Seiko 5 bought in Changi village, Singapore 1969

A slightly sad theme here really. My Seiko was a very accurate watch at that time. Now in the back of a drawer for many years. Box and papers in archive. Worth nothing now but takes up little space, so why throw away? Just part of my history.
The Avia was my third watch gifted by my parents at aged 14. Had a rough time until I left school. Small size, it still works well with pretty 15j Swiss movement. Original Milanese bracelet. Again, in the back of the drawer alongside the Seiko.
Watch #1 was a Newmark at age 7, which drowned in a school bath! Watch #2 was an Ingersoll boys that never came back from a service in spite of my frequent chasing the jeweller. What's new there?!
1940βs Avia
HASGWE everyone!
