A very interesting theme this week end Mike! I´m sure...

... we will be viewing a lot of interesting timepieces, and more important: some awesome stories about them.

In my personal case, I had very little to think about the watch I would like to be remembered, which I have no doubt WILL be the watch all my family and close friends will remember me with it.

I have been wearing a Submariner 5513 from 1966 through 1977, and from 1977 through present, the 1680 Sub I´m showing below in a daily basis, 24 hrs a day.

Since I became interested in collecting watches only five or six years ago, I´ve been wearing other watches in these last years, but I guess 50% of the time they were Submariners, this very same one or other references I also own.

So this is the watch for this week W/S theme: 1680 Rolex Submariner, bought new in February 1977.

"The watch you want to be remembered by" I am sure we all have plenty of watches in our collections. Throughout the years here on PuristSPro, I have learned to associate certain watches to specific people. As soon as I see THAT watch on THAT hairy wrist.....
