An optical illusion?...

 By: pplater : April 22nd, 2010-22:40
Great shot as always, Geo, but it looks as if the watch is actually reflecting in the huge buckle beneath. What's the story - Gulliver wears Cartier??? ;-) Cheers, pplater.

Thank you pplater

 By: Geo : April 22nd, 2010-23:16
It's in fact the watch leaning on my belt buckle (that's why it's so large) and some reflection. Glad you like the shot. GEO

Roll on Saturday!...

Elegant ? Most of the time you are Nicolas .... Serious ? Always with friends, never in court ... otherwise you'd loose all the time my friend .... LOL ... See you soon now ... the V8 is running warm ... Filip

You will surely succeed, Nicolas...

 By: anaesdoc : April 23rd, 2010-01:55
... and if you should fail (what I do by no means expect), it will definitely not be due to your watch choice, which is excellent ! Enjoy your serious and elegant day, anaesdoc

I think this JLC complements ...

Was thinking about that, Andrew...

Funny coincidence. Best, my friend. Nicolas

Chronometers

 By: AndrewD : April 23rd, 2010-15:10
Actually it would be a very difficult choice for me between these two chronometers. If it had to be one, I would still choose the Connie, probably because the dial gives it a touch more 'dressiness' and versatility, but I love the sober analytical side of...

Dressiness versus " intellectual simplicity "... :)

 By: amanico : April 23rd, 2010-23:01
Difficult to choose between these 2, indeed, except that, MAYBE, the movement on the Geophysic is above, IMO, ad it is one of the nicest Chronometer movemement ever made, with the Peseux 260. Best, my friend. Nicolas

Then you made the right choice! :-)

I'm thinking you shouldn't let it go! Keep it! Best, my friend. Nicolas

Let it go?

By: blomman Mr Blue : April 23rd, 2010-12:12
Thank you for your concern, but then I think you misunderstood my “torn between…” post. The watches I got, I keep – the problem is the future! To be able to keep up with JLC’s development of both memos and reversos… And in the same time I would like to be...

I really misunderstood your post, my friend.

 By: amanico : April 23rd, 2010-14:38
I thought you were on to let it go. So, IMO, you'd better follow your heart on the Memo way, and to attack some rare vintage birds... Such as the Deep Sea Alarm, for example. Best! Nicolas

Yes…

By: blomman Mr Blue : April 24th, 2010-09:53
That’s probably what I will do… Best, my friend Blomman

Sorry Respo!

Thanks Nicolas.

Not bad at all, indeed. Around the awesome FF MIlspec, I´ve be able to build a good collection; the universal beauty of a vintage Rolex Sub and the strong look and rarity of a Benrus Sterile made the collection nice. Thanks for your kind words, Herma...

Sexy Plexy

Nice shots and watches Emilio, I completely understand the allure of these plexiglass domes, particularly when viewed from the side and when they catch the light. Beautiful. Andrew

Really thanks, Andrew!

 By: E.J. : April 26th, 2010-13:21
These domed plexys have, as you said, allure. Them give to these watches a strong look, playing with the dial and the light. Thanks again for your kind words, Andrew Best Emilio
