Past weddings .... Too late now ... LOL But a marriage of caffeine n rolex is a delicate ritual .... Waiting ..... Calling ......... Matrimony! Great way to start any day, especially wedding day ! ...  

I went chasing this watch last year without any success. Or it was way too expensive or way too damaged. Last week, it showed up: Breguet Aeronavale type XX. I know that movement wise is ... OK but I love the discrete charm of the dial and hands. Not new ...

In fact it was 13:50 (we use what is called in other places "military time") or 1:50 PM and the light was way bright than I use to shoot. What I did was to close the aperture and use a higher shutter speed to simulate a low light condition. Of course, I p...

1) No, is no a Lemania 5501. This was discussed here: Then when Breguet decided to reintroduce the Type XX in the mid-90s, Lemania created a flyback version based on the Ebel variant and removed the calendar (the Aeronavale was the first modern Type XX). ...

What ref is this ?

you want a reference number? not sure i know it to be honest, but its the automatic reduced model. 38mm instead of 40mm for the standard. its a 90's model and not a huge amount made with white dial, lots with black though. it uses an eta with DD module 47... 

It's a very proper wedding watch. I never had a Speedmaster "reduced" but yours is very cool and the size is perfect. Cheers, Nilo
