Finally I got one this year - a wilder yellow one but it’s probably not the last 😊

Thx for kind looking, dear K !.. And Yes, this combo LC3072/all with specific blue vs the Stingray is a rewarding match, IMHO..

 By: hs111 : October 24th, 2020-03:50
The play of light on case with the round dial indices and the strap’s changing blue hues can render an amazing effect. Thx again and HAGWE, hs.

I have to ask re the Memovox, is that tropic strap leather or rubber?

 By: K-Lo : October 23rd, 2020-12:21
I have been yearning, YEARNING! to get a good rubber tropic in 23MM for my Bathy... I really hate custom strap sizes sometimes....

Love That stingray strap on your memovox

Who is the strapmaker, if I may ask it?

Thanks dear friends for all your kind comments!

 By: NT931 : October 25th, 2020-04:53
The blue nubuck ostrich is a Vietnam based seller off eBay, and the anaconda was a one off project from a great guy in Italy who has made many straps for my vintage watches. Happy to give details via PM!

Great theme...time to take stock...

Thanks Adam!

 By: S F : October 25th, 2020-04:48
The ammo on the Zenith was made by Anthony Pang (Straps66) from Singapore.

Fantastic shots and a great theme...

Let’s see... If I recall correctly this might have been my first custom made strap - and it set me on many a strap journey since... Including the latest one - same watch but on a galuchat 😊 These days most of the straps I add are cashmere or tweed - like ...

Hmmmm

 By: K-Lo : October 23rd, 2020-09:47
That galuchat - a very citrus vibe for me, taste a little sour in my mouth... Tweed or cloth - I have not elevated to this level yet, love it one the OMEGA very dapper, and Uber classy.. Blue electric toad - what can I say? oozes reptile-lity, if you will...

I know they are not to everyone’s taste 😉

 By: KMII : October 23rd, 2020-11:06
I have more conventional ones, too 😂

No no, please, the more funky the better...

Bring the stories too, I am all for "furthering" the conversation. this kind of stuff gets me excited. Sorry, I'll get a hold of myself now LOLOLOL

Happy Friday, Ted-Lo...

 By: Brandon Skinner : October 23rd, 2020-11:55
This week is the perfect theme for me as I absolutely do not wear bracelets. I have to say my favorite go-to strap is tan “Egyptian Serie” strap from a well known maker in Indonesia. It pretty much works on everything as evidenced on the two watches below...

Happy Friday my good Sire

 By: K-Lo : October 23rd, 2020-12:18
Fire and foremost, what a beautiful family, you included, . Glad you are able to share some great family memories with fellow Purists. Gosh, where do I start? “Egyptian Serie” from Indonesia, fancy fancy my friend, or at least sounds fancy and “looks” fan...

So Brandon,

 By: Speedie74 aka Mr. Torquise : October 25th, 2020-03:01
the one on the Leonidas is very special and the lizard matches very well for the Speake Marine but the winner is the ‘Covid’-red for me. It is so unusual! Who is the maker and what kind of material has the strap? Truly yours, Adam

Hi Adam

 By: Brandon Skinner : October 25th, 2020-09:08
This is the “Red Blackbay” strap from Gunny Straps in Indonesia. I assume it’s calfskin but I could be mistaken

You my friend are the King of funky strap imho 🤗

It’s a fun aspect of the hobby I guess - and one i enjoy very much 😊

Love the blue toad strap

 By: NT931 : October 24th, 2020-07:39
I used to have a navy toad strap on a Grand Seiko which I've sold - the leather is supposed to be thin but tough

It’s certainly worked well so far 😊

Bring in the big gun PAMS.... The first pic seems to show you have some serious diving gear that is coupled with some lovely supple leather straps, those straps look mighty sturdy. Loving the assortment of straps in the second pic, all the straps seem to ...

My oh my!

Now that is an assortment of straps... Seems you have one for every occasion. Favorite for me is the leather strap currently on the Tudor, the color and texture fits the watch so well....

Thanks Ted-Lo. However as all these are for the Tudor, the one I am really missing is the OEM fabric strap from Tudor.

This watch is currently at Tudor to repair a scratch on the bronze (that I had done) and it will come back from service with a new oem strap!

Now that is a strap collection!

Wow, how long did it take you to acquire all those straps? WOW.

All since COVID!

The rubber ones 26mm are all for my Garmin and are not expensive so I ordered all the available from Amazon! As for the others sizes, most of them were similar story as I was trying new strap instead of getting new watch to change things around...FYI this...

Well you will be okay with a strap for a while.

Hi How about see through straps Really like like my emas as it's a very different take on the dive watch look. My 20 year old yellow jelly - probably the watch I've had most comments about. Cheers JML ...

Now we are talking...

That’s actually my theme. As a paneristi the search for the perfect and most authentic vintage strap is as much fun as the watches itself. So finding the strap they had 70years ago

 By: Ahoi : October 25th, 2020-08:24
During the journey to find the most authentic strap I had the pleasure to meet some of the great strap artist out there and talk with them about straps. So much too learn. And the journeys goes on and on. Today I have a nice straps collection which I keep...

Oh my Panerai!

 By: K-Lo : October 25th, 2020-08:32
You literally have all the colors and kinds of straps I can think of for a Panerai. My favorite, personally, by far, must be the strap, in the first pic, on the Panerai to the left. I think I have seen you take that one in the water and put it to "task." ...

Yes right ☺️basically some had the pleasure already to hit the water ☺️

 By: Ahoi : October 25th, 2020-08:44
As they are kind of thick and done out of good and old leather, they handle that quite well ☺️. Enjoy the rest of the Sunday
