Couldn't resist this when I saw Anthony's post about it yesterday....

Hard as heck to get a good photo of them together though at least in uncontrolled lighting conditions like I've got here at the local coffee shop, but you get the idea.

these FF, and other watches like the Seamaster 300 (I love this watch), are simply stunning watches. I think that your words explains it really well, "the FF are watches that trancend its generation". For me, the same happen with the SM 300, the Memovoxes...
