A Schwarz Etienne,Hermes and Omega

Sep 13, 2018,10:53 AM

One of my fav's but unfortunately don't wear it as much as I should. Schwarz Etienne Roma GMT in Rose Gold. ASE 120.00 micro rotor movement Another semi-rare bird, the Hermes Le Temps Suspendu in steel with Jean-Marc Wiederrecht (Agehor) designing the unique suspended time function. This watch gets a lot of attention from the ladies for some reason. My wife says because they can see the Hermes label while I prefer to believe it has more to do with the uniqueness (and the wearer!). Lastly, my 14 minute chrono. An Omega Seamaster Apnea, and I use the chrono function every time I get in a line just to see how much time is being wasted.

Lesser known watches from a Lesser known brand

 By: NT931 : September 13th, 2018-18:48
Doxa is a fairly obscure brand. Their watches (both vintage and modern) are better known for the dive watches, especially the recent reissues which are gaining popularity. Their vintage dress watches however fly quite under the radar, and many of their "A...

The Poljot was my first mechanical watch - got it as a present ages ago. Powered by the Poljot 3133 calibre (Soviet licenced copy of the Valjoux 7734) it’s not very special mechanically but robust and a bit different for sure Glad you like it!

Thank you for the data about your Poljot watch dear KM! Russian watches always raised an special interest in me. Regretably they are not easy to find here in my lands. I only own one ...

I don't wear this very often, it's a bit of a safe queen. And this is just unusual. My first luxury watch, purchased 18 years ago, that I haven't worn in years. Zenith Elite "pre-Nataf". ...

Can I ask you why you don’t wear your beautiful Sub more often ? It looks gorgeous...

If I were you it would get a lot of wrist time...

Hi Mike

 By: Boris : September 16th, 2018-03:10
I don't know, really. Probably the fact that I engage in sporting activities every day means I end up with the 214270 or the 16570 on most days. And when I actually want a watch on leather, the 1815 Up/Down comes to mind naturally. But you are right, it's...

Wise decision my friend 😉

 By: Mike H : September 17th, 2018-10:07
But you will have to show it by posting wrist shots of your beauty regularly 😉 it deserves it... Best, Mike

Here is mine.

Legible and (fairly) affordable PC. The alarm is an added bonus, with the switch between sound and vibrate is also cool.

The switch is a very neet function! [nt]

I don’t know if it is indeed unique.

 By: zabreg1 Mr White : September 15th, 2018-09:49
But certainly unusual.

Always liked that watch.. But yes, a bit big on the wrist.. Also a rare combo of complications !

 By: hs111 : September 15th, 2018-09:30
.. Only a bit pity full you obviously don’t wear it a lot ! Best, Hs

Unfortunately, I do not wear it enough.

 By: zabreg1 Mr White : September 15th, 2018-09:49

Thank you, Abel.
