"fixed"?
Hi Don,
Great stuff, as before. I am really enjoying this exploration and looking forward to reading more about your findings.
When you say that one version will have a "fixed" coupling spring, do you mean that it will be so stiff as to effectively be fixed? Part of me suspects that even a VERY stiff connection will transmit sufficient vibration that very closely regulated balances may be able to couple with each other. I guess your real world explorations will elucidate further.
