VC would never see the Overseas as more than the "sporty" watch they advertised and accept it as a true adventure watch. After revealing I wore another Gen I to the summit of Aconcagua in South America, VC offered to lend me a new Gen II for my Denali cli...  

Watch looks killer this way and the adventures you had with it "elevate it" even further... bravo! May I ask who performed the coating for you?

by a carbon nanotechnology firm that typically treats precision tools and surgical instruments. This was a one-off project and they do not offer their services for watches unfortunately. I believe there are firms out there that will, you'll have to search... 

My dream will be the Everest chrono edition! I found it absolutely gorgeous!

I didn’t realize earlier Overseas version had numbers on the dial. Very impressive DLC version.

for the military or Arabic dial on the Gen I Chronometer, black and blue. There was also a black military dial available on the Gen I Chrongraph.

And for me the Overseas looks better in black.
