I believe that a review of a VC watch can't be properly done without putting it in the historical perspective of this brand. 250 years are too heavy a heritage that is impossible to simply ignore. Rather, many details in the new design recover a stronger sense when they are examined under the lens of history. And you've done very well. Thank you!

I specially love the the verse you quoted to initiate your article, not only because it's from a geat poet I happen like, but because, as I understand it, it successfully conveys the creative yet conservative spirit, which is precisely an outstanding charateristics of VC. I even dare to say that, the Anxiety of Influence, as Horald Bloom called it, could be another interpretation of VC's modern timepieces.
