my observation of a similar watch I owned is that it's possible to be confused by the three similar hands, when looked at in a hurry or at an angle. See below: True, the tip is red and on your proposed watch the hands are different colors, but who knows i...  

and there will be times when I read it wrong. but then again, I wear watches now-a-days for more of a vanity reason 😅

first in February, then in July: I loved the case, lugs and triple calendar complication with peripheral date display. Two things gave me mixed feelings though: the champagne color of the dial, which didn’t completely work for me, and the fact that the 44...

It is very true to the original. I like the stick hands and the texture of the dial. I should dig out mine and give it some wrist time.

And I like the triple calendar in other forms, like the vintage Omega Cosmic. It’s almost the same dial, almost. But the moon phase tips it over the edge from being “meh” like this VC to “oh, I do like that” with the Cosmic. Or course the Omega also benef... 

now I'm curious to see for it firsthand

And the great thing about watch shopping in HK is you can pretty much see everything you want in a few hours. It makes for easy comparisons.

went to the London boutique last week and they told me it was discontinued. But then again the sales associate was not very impressive and he might have been wrong. good luck hunting an outstanding stock, which should work in Asia
