Well my Wabi interpretation is certainly as wrong as it could get. What I'm actually looking for is more like, aged with grace.
And not to forget, there are Western approaches to this topic as well, I guess even more suitable ones.
Aficinados may also think about the anglophile "...old money look..", or the more italophile think about "sprezzatura" both well known principles, "sprezzatura" you can easily trace back to the Italian renaissance.
