- After 1950 as it has the applied maltese cross logo (but need to see case and movement numbers)
- Possibly wrong handset (both minute and second hands much longer than minute track; second hand not counterweighted)
- Aftermarket buckle and crown
- I suspect the case to be a "french creation" of the early 1950s, which tended to be more stylish and artistic (VC exported movements, dial and handset kits to France to circumvent tariffs at the time). A similar French cased watch can be found here: www.estim-nation.fr
