the case shape of ref.6111
Recently, I communicated with two collectors, and they both asked same question. ref.6111, Maltese cross case shape, where the lugs and the middle case join, there are two different shapes.

I don't know this detail whether you have noticed it before. I think this is a deliberate nuance created by the case factory. Some friends think it is caused by polishing.
But such a huge wear and tear is almost impossible. If the case polished, that part does not seem to make much sense.
