Vacheron Constantin

I went in to 2005 planning to celebrate Vacheron Constantin's 250th anniversary by purchasing two Vacheron Constantin watches. One was definitely going to be the Jubile 1755, and I succeeding in doing this that summer. The pattern on the dial was created ...  

Initially I did not like the Jubilee watch. I had seen the previous day dates with a flat dial and it just wasn't something I was into. However I have noticed that over the last 3-4 years I have grown more and more to like the different variants of this. ... 

And now someone else is the lucky owner of that piece. A lot of people do well by picking up watches from me when I have had my fill of them...... Bill

But pix of the WG and platinum have always gotten me excited. Maybe someday I can see the exquisite dial in person. As for the Mercator, well I just love my Americas version. Great pix Bill, as always. Here is a companion shot of th Americas Hope to see y...

It is funny how the watches you hunt for sometimes just appear when you least expect them to do so. The Jubilee is an extraordinary piece in any metal. I would love to have the chance to examine one in person. Your closeup of the dial reveals many of its ...  

Congrats on your Mercator....I would have preferred the Americas dial but most important was that mine was platinum with the etched dial. Bill

so it is worth seeking out for those extras, and not just for the individual lot information and photographs. Bill

You are correct, right place right time can often trump a well laid out plan, but most things come around again if you wait long enough. And yes, you are convincing me there is always a next watch :)

so the question to you, sir, becomes what's next after what's next? :-)
