Incredible idea and mouvement, disappointing face
I saw it (albeit not on my wrist). I have to say I absolutely love the concept and the mouvement’s execution, however, I’m left completely cold by the dial side. The use of the red for the frequency indicator and the power reserve is a big mismatch with the rest of the dial. It looks almost sporty... I’m also not of fan of the sapphire disks for the QP indications, nor the semi-skeletonized face. It’s really too bad, since the idea is incredible and watching the slow beat of the 1.2Hz balance wheel is fascinating. I hope they come up with a more traditional face with the same mouvement. I applaud VC for the technical breakthrough though. I love when a new complication solves a real life problem.

Vacheron Constantin is really rocking complications in recent years but they should focus on their primary collections, too.
