For some time now I have thought that 2010 was my favorite year for vacheon Constantin. But I was thumbing through the Collections 2001-2002 catalogue, somewhat arbitrarily, and was amazed at how many of what have become favorite models for me were availa...

...all good words to describe the Vacheron Constantin of that period. But I would use those same words to describe the collection today. I must admit I do not feel a nostalgia for the past with regard to VC, but rather I am enthralled by the continuity in... 

It was the VC Malte Chrono, and the Chrono QP. Since then I am running after the flame to burn me, in a passionate way. But there are some cool VCs to get! I have to come back to this brand. I WANT to come back to this brand. Best! Nicolas

And I stopped my investigations to 2006. So, the field is a bit restricted. But these are 4 or 5 strong ones, at the exception of one, which is strange but I love it! Best, Nicolas

I can easily agree with you on this. I am very impressed with the current VC catalogue. As you know better than most, I cannot get my fill and continue to lust after pieces in the current production even as I wish for many from the past. Now as for that 4...

I better not show you mine (LOL). I owned that retrograde date as well in white gold but sold it a few years ago, although I don't remember why. I also had a Grand Classic. I still own 5-6 from that catalogue. Definitely a very good year! Joseph

to make room for the JDN tourbillon, you would/could have built up one hell of a collection quickly. That catalog from 2001 also had the skeleton perpetual which was gorgeous and in my collection. :-) Bill

I believe it is 34mm..... :( but I love the dial's tension and muscularity / extreme elegance, despite the tiny case. I owned the Historique Chrono PT for a year or more--one of the most brilliantly beautiful movements I have ever seen. One day I'll own a... 

And still is! I feel very lucky to have this one in my small collection. I hope VC will return to your watch box before long, Mostel. I believe VC is continuing to up its game and it is time you got in the game again. ;-) All the best, respo

Your assessment of the CR is spot on. I do not "recall this movement was subject to an additional 30-days of chronometric testing following the ususal COSC 14-day trials." But I don't think I ever knew that, and this is very interesting infromation, indee...
