A great vintage
Mostly agree those pieces continue to shine with the passage of time. I feel the Chronometre Royal was still trying to find its way out of the forest though. It strayed with the 2215, Phidias CR and that 47022 in terms of design (admittedly a matter of preference) and movements (this I am more definite about) until hitting the mark with the 1907 and its wonderful 2460 SCC caliber. I wonder how many recall this movement was subject to an additional 30-days of chronometric testing following the ususal COSC 14-day trials.

It was the VC Malte Chrono, and the Chrono QP. Since then I am running after the flame to burn me, in a passionate way. But there are some cool VCs to get! I have to come back to this brand. I WANT to come back to this brand. Best! Nicolas

to make room for the JDN tourbillon, you would/could have built up one hell of a collection quickly. That catalog from 2001 also had the skeleton perpetual which was gorgeous and in my collection. :-) Bill

I would choose the Patrimony Retro Day-Date now as well.....
But I purchased this particular 47245 in 2004, a year before VC even had an in-house automatic movement, much less the retrograding complication on top of it. Bill

The Historiques Chronograph was superb!
