I've had a great experience with ABP in Paris as they have an amazing selection of hides and in literally hundreds of colors, tones, hues, etc...

An example of their custom tanning nubuck alligator can be seen on my 2 Duometre Chronographs below.
The WG black dial has a multi-tonal grey nubuck large scale alligator with small scale gator lining.
The PT model with PT dial has a multi-tonal denim blue nubuck large scale alligator with small scale gator lining.
I think if you choose a burgundy or bordeaux custom tanning nubuck gator strap, ABP is a good place to start š

A blue strap will highlight the blue text on the dial. But I have trouble picturing blue gator working right on this watch, so I'd want to try it with a more casual material. Smooth cordovan or a pebbled calf.

Blue is how the Cornes de Vache is originality advertised, but VC does it in alligator. Your tip of blue cordovan would give it a cool, youthful look. Iāll check it out. Do you have good experience with a specific manufacturer of cordovan straps? Thanks! ...

This is how VC sold the watch. It definitely looks great but I fear it would always compete with my blue Overseas and Nautilus for wrist time. Thanks for chiming in!
