I quite like the platinum with the silver dial....
and prefer it to the salmon dial (though I may be in the minority on that front). Of course, my favorite was this one:

I hunted for one in PT for a very long time, but couldn't find one in the condition I wanted, so I moved on... I owned its yellow gold brother for a while--also a nice piece, with so much vintage flavor--but eventually sold it as I mostly prefer white met...
It is one of these very rare watches I love in all metals. ;)

Nicolas, I am in the same camp with you on this one. Oddly enough, I like all versions of this watch. But I do not necessarily have a strong preference for the platinum case. I almost think now that I prefer the yellow gold, which is also strange for me. ...
