I will certainly write something about that Watch which provides me a renewed pleasure each time I see it.
My favourite remains the salmon dial, but I must admit that this silver dial, much more understated, is not lacking interest nor charm.
And, as always, I miss this kind of case. Even if I like, too, the Malte Chronograph which came just after that reference.
Here it is, for the pleasure of your eyes...
One day, I will have to come back to this Chronograph, and get another one!
Best,
Nicolas.
Soon in Trieste, my friend!
Best,
Nicolas
I hunted for one in PT for a very long time, but couldn't find one in the condition I wanted, so I moved on...
I owned its yellow gold brother for a while--also a nice piece, with so much vintage flavor--but eventually sold it as I mostly prefer white metals.
Still love all the VC Historiques chronos, though.
John
But with a strong preference for Pt cases, here...
All the best, my friend.
Nicolas
Nicolas, I am in the same camp with you on this one. Oddly enough, I like all versions of this watch. But I do not necessarily have a strong preference for the platinum case. I almost think now that I prefer the yellow gold, which is also strange for me.
You cannot go wrong with this one no matter the case or the dial.
Best,
