I have a question - what has made you choose this piece? What
Else were you considering, either from within VC or elsewhere? This piece has suddenly become very popular. It was not when VC launched it in SIHH 2009. I bought mine in early 2011 and it was still unpopular. It's certainly got its fair share of fame this year within VC circles and in forums, and I'm interested to know your story.
new Patrimony
Just acquired this version of the mechanical Patrimony and wanted to share a first pic. I will try and take some more and share them as soon as I find some time. That cream dial was the trigger point after having the normal version on my radar for 3 years...

I am so happy for you. This is one of the nicest modern dress watches in the market! You mentioned cream dial - is this the VC boutique special edition? I have the VC Patrimony Traditionelle in RG but mine is the normal (non boutique edition). Still love ...

Beautiful watch. Love the dial. Is this cream colour the same colour Fx referred to as eggshell? The best part of this watch is the beautiful reverse side with the groves, and the stunning movement, so am looking forward to more pictures ! Congratulations...

eggshell could be used as a characterization as well, I believe : - )

I took out mine last night to wind and admire, both front and back.
Almost three years on I still love this piece. What a beautiful movement as well. One question: since you have the boutique edition, did your come with a special certificate and/or numbering?

I would think not. I will double check tonight, but I do not think so. I think I just got the case/box with the exposition window and the VC passport, which I believe is the case also for the normal version (?) All the best, Alexandros

Be careful in looking to these forums to judge popularity....
The basic Patrimony Traditionnelle watches (82172 and 87172) have sold very well for Vacheron Constantin since they've been out, though they don't get as much attention necessarily on this or other VC forums in comparison with other models. Bill
I was looking for a pink gold classic
And ever since it was launched, I was thinking of buying it. I love the design, the movement and I also respect VC and what it stands for. Between PP, L&S, AP, FPJ, etc I like that VC is the least obvious choice while its watches do not cry for attent...
I got a chance to see this model in person,
along with the regular rg dial and the platinum. I found this rg trad. w boutique dial to be my favorite by far. It's one of the most beautiful pure dress watches ever. Congrats.
