Vacheron Constantin

Great review and...

What a surprise.

I will start from the most interesting point, the price tag: it seems that someone, in the VC's headquarters, has awaken from a long sleep.
The world is changing quickly, smatwatches are breaking the rules and eroding quarterly revenues and only the smartest (not phones) will survive.

Placing an entry level watch at a reasonable price means to be aware of the purchasing power of the potential customers.
Having said that, let's talk about the watch.
I really like the cushion shape case, it gives the watch a smooth design, which is almost the same from the past reference, but someone (maybe the same wise manager at the HQ) has at least realized that the customization was useless and definitely overpriced.

I don't know how many watches VC did sold, but i assume it did not succeded.

Agree with you on the difficult legibility of the date, but the dial is very well balanced and even elegant; far away better than the predecessors
The Quai de l'Ile holds the Geneva seal, so i hope you will be able to provide some appealing photos of  the anglage.
