but it is a commitment. I am not sure a blue 12 would be 'right'. Yet I myself thought of it intuitively before Dominique suggested it... I'm not sure. It has to be right. I'm hoping Dominique will find a place in VC history where a blue 12 has a rightful... 

Probably brighter than it would be in reality, but just for a way of imagining. I think it looks too bright here, but I could imagine it darker, more subtle... still thinking about it... all black also appeals to me in the absolute stealth manner or as Am...  

especially with the blue strap to tie it all together. I believe that one of Kari Voutilainen's Oberservatory watches came with blue numbers. I'll try to dig up a picture. Bill

at least to me, but I love the idea of one (and have dreamed of a few, from dial and case changes of existing products to complications on current movements, but never a movement from scratch). Lucky for me, and most of the rest of us, that Vacheron Const... 

I'm wondering if part of the huge costs involved with commissioning an Ateliers Cabiontiers piece is compensation for the loss of future development that VC accepts. A custom design becomes property of the owner, so Blue 12 in that exact model/style is fo...

1921 in platinum is all but certain don't you think? Red 12... up to you! Back to the CR in plat. House Version. Looking at it more and more... I don't know if a red or blue or any other color 12 would improve it. I like it's 'deliciously cold' rendering.... 

And to say all, even in this " normal " configuration ( Platinum case, white dial, black numbers ), this CR is to die for. As some watches, we just need time to fully understand and appreciate it. High in my list. Best, Nicolas
