Vacheron Constantin

An early caliber.435

I first paid attention to vintage V&C in the second half of 2015. At that time, posting and discussing on watch forums was still very popular. I was fortunate to have some screenshots of information or important materials summarized by some enthusiasts at that time.

Unfortunately, there was no website name left at that time. This set of data also been cited by a Chinese watch forum and influenced many people. But I have always believed that unofficial data with serious deviations.

Today I saw this photo of an early 435 movement, serial number 42801X. If judged by the data in above picture, the production date was1936. But this movement should be used only after the merger of VC and JLC in the end of 1938. Judging by the case number, the watch was produced at least by the end of 1940 or 1941. Borrowing pictures or data to tell the truth, but if the information which provides is problematic, what can it prove?
