I've been a long time fan myself. I was torn between this and the Breguet 3237 a few years ago and went Breguet but had to have both in the end. Interestingly I got to hold this (47101/2) and the original next to each other when deciding and its astounding the number of differences that could be found between them. Most notable design changes were lug shape and Hour/Minute hand length, as well as a different bridge shape on the movement.

Enjoying this Les Historiques from the early 90s that pairs well with my Breguet 3237 ...

sadly, the lighting was horrendous in the space so any pic I tried to take of the pair turned out poorly. Notice the hand length (Longer on the series 1) and the crown (Smaller on the series one). I disappointingly didn't get a shot of the casebacks. ...

36mm case is perfect...
For the lemania movement inside, both size and design are“restrained ”at its best, could be better than the beloved cornes de vache.🌝
