Always a smile glancing down at this companion

My only blue watch. Despite loving the color blue, I haven't jumped into the trend as much with watches. I love the shade or slate type blue. Typical VC styling on the case, and I love a central seconds. Only complaint is at 41x41 in a tonneau style case,...

Was offered I think from 2017 to 2019. I got from boutique in early 2020 as "the last" available in N America. Who knows I have heard that before 🤣

Gorgeous blue that one doesn't see often!

It is interesting how designs which were once a commercial failure can look so good years later ... I think this is a good example, together with early Roger Dubui, Daniel Roth etc

Agree VC was unique here

The introduction of this line was quite a failure. If I recall correctly, trying to have counterfeiting strategies, all rare metals (gold, ti, palladium), user selected combination of dial and case metals, and very expensive. It was a big failure. When th...

Awesome shots!

It's a keeper

My "covid" watch as I got just as the pandemic was getting underway. While AD were discounting stuff for end of world, I was the brilliant person to buy from a boutique 🤣

A beauty! Nicely done

Good comparisons

DB with the avant-garde shapes and LF with the cushion but round

Just beautiful.

Way back, when VC released the Quai de I’lle, I always thought the idea of selecting components to create your own design was intriguing. I remember seeing Rose Gold and Titanium combination cases that looked outstanding. I think the model and the “design...

Yes an odd arrangement at the time

Plus they were very expensive for time/date watch of the era

A very nice watch!

Too big for my wrist. But looks awesome on some people's wrists!

I disagree with the style of the case

 By: Weems@8 : November 18th, 2022-19:16
The good thing about the tonneau style case is it original approach. There is no other watch like yours. Agree with the central seconds, which is different than a small second which known from pocket watches from the nineteenth century. Blue is electric. ...

Sadly I think this ref has been eliminated

Other variants would have been neat once they "figured it out" in around 2016. Both the case shape and finishing are cool and unique. Reminds me of the top of the Chrysler building ! ...

Gorgeous watch

I think ur missing the best part. I believe this blue one is also 100m WR, right? Not too mention the same movement used on Overseas also. Mine is in black. It is only 30m WR. ...

Nice black dial!

Yes I mentioned in response to someone above, 10atm! I had mine on the rubber strap but it was not as comfortable, maybe need to try aftermarket. TBH I wear a rolex or omega on the pool.
