We Saw It In Basel, And I Have To Say...
... It Would Be Fun To Own One... if I didn't want a house instead.
One of the cool things is that the minute hand doesn't just 'spring' back to zero. Rather, it takes a smooth and slow track back to its origin to convey (I think) calmer seas ahead.
Note the cabling strung about to control the retrograde of the minute hand. Have to say, one of my favorite pieces at the show and definitely a brand I am tracking.
My apologies. Even after all these years of going to Basel, the way some of the lights
"torch" the displays can make for a difficult photo situation.
Anyway, I am digging Ulysse Nardin.
