Here is an old picture I took almost seven years ago about my UN Collection ( 14th of April 2007 ). Two pieces left the collection: The Perpetual Calendar I sold, not because I didn't like it, but because it was too close to the design oof my Sonata. And...
I envy your collection. Any one of those would be in my wish list, especially the 160. Wonderful pieces and looking forward to your unveiling of that "new" piece. Richard
And I will post a topic about my U.N wish list, this summer. But to me, these 5 were quite represnetative of the U.N madness and genius. Thanks for your kind words, Richard. Nicolas
Still saving up for one, but there's always distractions that jeopardises my plans BUT your collection is making me more determined to work harder and save up for an UN watch!
is just BRUTAL!!! Best of UN world by any definition If Striker and Astronomical were in picture it'll be UN heaven Now ... please relieve quickly your new acqusition Best Damjan
But also deeply hated by my wallet... Even if I don't listen to it. ;) Seriously, an astronomical watch from UN and the Striker, and I meet you in Heaven! Add two or three Vintage, and basta. ;) Best, my dear friend. Nicolas
Yes, and " pour remuer le couteau dans la plaie ", the Monopusher was one of my top favourite Chronograph.... I am thinking, very seriously, about getting another one... Best, my dear friend. Nicolas
I also found the monopoussoir delicious but unfortunately found a bad one, as you know. :) Luckily I was able to return it at a small cost. I do hope you will find a 'good' one. :) Best fernando
Like girard Perregaux, UN is a brand to be seriously looked at. For the vintage chronograph, this is top priority for the future behind or with a Movado M90, we'll see the opportunities next year ... cheers Francois
And I reviewed it frequently, over the years. I think the remaining trio (+ the new one to be unveiled, of course!) really embodies all that is great with UN. They really make watches for true connoisseurs, IMO.
If you add another perpetual, you might consider either the original classic, maybe even a first series "Perpetual Ludwig", or the opposite, design-wise: Either the "El Toro", or one of the watches that have been largely neglected by the enthusiasts, unju...
The only problem I have is that it is a colored gold case, which is not my taste... As for the PC, one of the former edition may well be THE solution. Thanks, Marcus. Nicolas
Well, I don't know if I have to thank you, as ths watch is one of my obsession, an obsession that you regularly feed with pics of yours... ;) Best, Nicolas
