I picked up mine with a dark brown leather strap, and somehow it didn't seem to quite fit for me. Changed to black rubber straps, and it looks and feels like a totally different watch. Although, I have never really thought about this watch with a metal strap. Something to consider.
The only thing that gets to me about this watch is that I need to cater for a roughly 15-second (+/- 1-2 seconds, maybe) lead on the seconds hand before the minute hand picks up. As I like the minute hands on my watches synchronised with the second hands (meaning the minute hand is at a minute index marker when the second hands hits 60 seconds), it takes a bit of deftness to get it just about right to synchronise the hands. Once used to it, I pretty much get it just about right each time I am setting the minute hand. I am sure this topic of minute-vs-seconds hand "slack" has been discussed here before as I have read it on other forums; I have yet to try the counter-clockwise setting to see if it works better.
But, if you are interested in this piece, worth exploring as I think you can probably pick it up at a pretty good price in the current market (not a limited edition).
And, echoing your wishes, Blansky, wear her in good health indeed.
