I'm still amazed that this watch winds itself with no traditional winding rotor. I wished there was a better way to explain the winding mechanism.
I spoke with the designer of the winding system for 30 minutes at SIHH. Cool concept! But a little difficult to explain in a way that's easily understood.
Is it based on the Innovision 2?

I really admire the freak but was not so much a fan of the previous case construction

The red accented piece doesn't do it for me. I'm excited by the attention UN is giving to the Freak line. M4
I have never had the pleasure of winding a Freak.
I have read some describe it as frustrating... that is a frustration I would happily embrace ;-)
And of course they make a winding tool to help.
