which I mean quite literally - geographically and culturally. 300 years together is a long time and you still see this in so many aspects. When we had Consultants from Northern Germany and Czech Republic at my former employee and we discussed the cuisine ...

Prague is on of the most beautiful cities in the world for me, and there is much more to see, like Budvar and Brno.

Definitely worth a visit, there is sooo much to see in CZ,

and another good thing is that it is next to Austria which is also always worth a visit! Shoot me a message when you plan to go, I will try to give you some information what to see, although I'm by no means a travel expert! The Czechs also did some incred...

And the gentle reminder we should head south some day, not only north - On the other note, temperatures here in the last three weeks correspond to April, I wonder what this is going to make to the trees and grapevine...

I wonder too what these mild temperatures will do to the harvest, but at least the winerys in my area had excellent results in the last years.

One of my favorite places I've been to was Prague. Right after the Berlin Wall fell and the Soviet block countries regained freedom. Soviet soldiers were hawking their medals and watches

(still have a couple) on street corners. Streets were full of Skodas, super cool Tatras and smoky Trabants. The food was tasty and the beer was the best (I so wish we could still get Staropramen in the US!). I've been to a lot of fantastic cities in Europ... 

You are right, Czech Republic is always worth a visit.

Prague is certainly one of the most beautiful cities I've visited. Lots to love there....good food,beer(s),and very affordable opera and music concerts.
