Looking what the other does. I talked with a Slovakian guy and ask if he knew Czechs or have family or a band with them. No. He only knew Slovaks and have some family and friends living in the UK. ...  

in the area as there are even some parts of the old border fences still intact, there even is a historical "Iron Courtain Trail" where you can learn about the Cold War history.

is obviously gorgeous, one of the prettiest countries in the world, and I look forward to having the opportunity to see it for myself at some point in time! My family is Eastern European so I'm sure it would feel completely familiar and comfortable.... Th... 

Prague is on of the most beautiful cities in the world for me, and there is much more to see, like Budvar and Brno.

and another good thing is that it is next to Austria which is also always worth a visit! Shoot me a message when you plan to go, I will try to give you some information what to see, although I'm by no means a travel expert! The Czechs also did some incred... 

And the gentle reminder we should head south some day, not only north - On the other note, temperatures here in the last three weeks correspond to April, I wonder what this is going to make to the trees and grapevine...

I wonder too what these mild temperatures will do to the harvest, but at least the winerys in my area had excellent results in the last years.

(still have a couple) on street corners. Streets were full of Skodas, super cool Tatras and smoky Trabants. The food was tasty and the beer was the best (I so wish we could still get Staropramen in the US!). I've been to a lot of fantastic cities in Europ... 

And regarding the beer - I also did a bit of shopping on Saturday, 90% of my beer consumpion is Czech beers. Cheers my friend, I will raise my glass to you! ...  

Prague is certainly one of the most beautiful cities I've visited. Lots to love there....good food,beer(s),and very affordable opera and music concerts.

It is not very far away and always worth a visit.
