Which jewellry brand?

Inspired by Bruno's thread about women's handbags, I thought I'd start one about haute jewellry.

As we do have a few fellow lady Purists with impeccable taste on this forum, I'm hoping to get some opinions in this topic

For those knowledgeable gentlemen that have experience and interest in this area (just like you have knowledge in women's handbags, you're more than welcome to chime in!

I wonder what are your views on the various high end jewellers (Excluding jewelly watches!!!!)

We all know and rave about Tiffany, Bulgari, Cartier, and to a lesser extent, Van Cleef & Arpels, Harry Winston, Graff, etc. Then there's also Boucheron and Chaumet and some others. How would you rank these jewellers in your own heart? These kind of things have no right answers, so I just want to get a feel of what's people's opinion out there And perhaps some of us prefer vintage pieces for the history behind them.

Personally, my family's a fan of Bulgari and Van Cleef and our collection's predominantly from these 2, but Cartier is quite popular amongst our friend group.

As with shoes, watches, cars, etc it depends on your style. Bulgari, Piaget, Tiffany, Cartier have very beautiful and iconic designs. Personally I buy Leo Pizzo, Tacori, and Damiani for jewelry brands. My AD carries Hearts and Arrows/HOF for loose diamond...
